In fact I think Bleak House is easily Dickens’ best work. Though I am fond of Christmas Carol just for the Muppets rendition. If you want his best storytelling effort, that is Copperfield. A perfect novel of drama and characters and society that is the quintessential reading experience snowed in, drinking hot chocolate, house all to yourself. read more
