I lived there for about 9 months about 30 years ago when I was the commissioning engineer for Flag Fen sewage treatment works. I liked the place. As Darren Williams says there are a lot of roundabouts. read more
My parents actually live in Yaxley but, as someone else said, Peterborough is a difficult place to like, I don't know why that should be, but it just doesn't have any redeeming features (god, that sounds unremittingly bleak) but I now live in the flat wastes of bedfordshire and I suppose that's not much better but, funnily enough I DO like it here. read more
