Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some inside info about life in The Big P smile. We (me, husband, 2 kids) are moving back to the UK after 4 years away and are looking for a place to settle. Peterborough seems to tick a few boxes in terms of location, commutability, etc but it's really hard to work out if it's a nice place to live or not. read more

My parents actually live in Yaxley but, as someone else said, Peterborough is a difficult place to like, I don't know why that should be, but it just doesn't have any redeeming features (god, that sounds unremittingly bleak) but I now live in the flat wastes of bedfordshire and I suppose that's not much better but, funnily enough I DO like it here. read more
