Vasco is a good place to stay it has marmagoa harbour, airport is just 6 kms and most of the place is occupied by Navy outside Vasco. It's a small town with and beautiful location you have nice valley views and not much commercial place. read more

Born circa 1460, Vasco da Gama was the son of a minor nobleman who commanded the fortress at Sines, located on the coast of the Alentejo province in southwestern Portugal.
