I grew up in Woodstock (I'm 23) and my parents still live in Cherokee County (Canton). It's a very Middle America, vanilla place. Life revolves around raising children for the most part, but you don't get the hard core academic involvement like nearby East Cobb and Roswell. read more
Answer Wiki. In my opinion, living in Woodstock is great. The schools are generally of high quality, traffic is only bad at peak rush hour, the dining available is oustanding, particularly in the downtown area, and the cost of living is relatively low for metro-Atlanta. read more
