A philosophy degree (like so many other undergraduate degrees) is far more about process than about content. The point is not to memorize a list centuries old arguments about the nature of existence, the point is to learn a very powerful way of thinking. read more

Anecdotally, a lot of philosophy majors go into academia, a lot do either consulting or law school and are well prepared for them, a lot do start ups, and then a bunch of them do a huge variety of things. read more
