It's liberating. I get to show my dominance over everyone and not just half the people in the game (the other half are my teammates in non-FFA modes, of course). It's fun to be part of the chaos and to always have to look out for yourself for every moment of the game. read more

FFA diplomacy games often take a long time as well. I played one that lasted 2 hours, and the game wasn’t even over - everyone left alive declared allied victory because we all got bored. The funny thing about FFA in singleplayer (Age of Conquerers) is that if you have the highest score, the AI will ALL target you (regardless of diplomacy). read more

The only FPS game I ever liked free for fall in was Halo. Call of Duty FFA just doesn't work. It's essentially everyone just camping and is extremely boring. Battlefield never seemed like a game that was meant to have FFA in the first place due to all of the vehicles. read more
