Personally, I find traveling alone more exciting than traveling with a group of people. It is always easier to meet with people, go with the flow and feel the local life. I just got back from Havana, it is a great place. Security-wise, Cuba is probably the most secure places that I’ve ever been to. You just don’t feel any thread at all. read more

Do not mistake this deference for affection either. They might meet you and like you, or dislike you. That is completely unrelated to the deference I mention.
