But honestly, there are just not a lot of black people here, which is surprising because Vancouver is a city of diversity - huge populations of Asians: Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Indian, Pakistani, but not a lot of black people. read more
No but people WILL stare and look at you like you're an idiot if they see you can't use chopsticks. A lot of younger people say "nigga" in public a lot. I don't know if this is a Vancouver thing or just a young people thing but it is not meant in a derogatory way. read more
