It's crap everywhere in England for most of the time. If weather is a serious concern, I'd assume you wouldn't be moving to England in the first place. Devon is nice, but it's more expensive than Newcastle, very few job opportunities in comparison and no nightlife to speak of. Newcastle is cheap, friendly, vibrant and generally safe. read more
