What is Los Altos Hills like as a place to live?

The most"business-like" thing in Los Altos Hills is probably Foothill College, which is a well regarded community college in the Foothill-De Anza district. Foothill College is the home of KFJC (89.7FM), which is one of the better college radio stations in California, and features an excellent programming schedule filled with eclectic music, talk and cultural shows. read more

For those really wanting a downtown restaurant scene (but don't want to drive to Palo Alto), Castro Street in Downtown Mountain View is only a couple miles away and is actually closer for residents of South Los Altos to visit than downtown Los Altos. read more
