It depends on the relation between the students on the teachers (先生 sensei). When I was a High-School student, my classmates and myself were called Name+ Kun, i.e. I was called アレックス君 (Alex-Kun)*. 君 or くん (kun) is a Japanese title like さん (san) 様 (sama) and so forth.
