Yields of Brussels sprouts are reported to average approximately 140 cwt/acre with good yields at 175 cwt/acre. Most Brussels sprouts in the northwest are hand harvested. Harvest sprouts when they are round, firm, tight, and of good color. read more
A good yield would be about 7,000 pounds per acre. Sprouts can be picked in hampers or baskets and hauled out of the field as soon as possible for packaging and refrigeration.
