What is Snow (Milky) Quartz used for?

Hi. Im in the sothern part of the Arizona desert. I am looking for information on milky quarts. I found a small piece that is very polished which i find very unusual. It is somewhat translucent With several angled sides but it is not a crystal. I think it was used by primitive man as a hammer stone in making arrow heads. read more
