The best of Switzerland is the mountains. Yes, you can spend 7 days rushing around the bottoms of the mountains but that's not the best of Switzerland. I think that a good whistle stop tour of Switzerland is the Ballenberg museum near Brienz - this has buildings from all over Switzerland, complete with contents, farm animals, vegetable gardens etc. Brienz itself is a good place to look around, a small part of history. read more
