The grease has increased my drag on my fly reels, thinking of trying it on my spinning reels drag rings. It is one that probably can be found easiest in sporting goods stores. Properly lubricating your reel with Quantum Hot Sauce Reel Grease will add years of use to moving parts and extra yards of casting distance. read more
I've also been using TSI 321 with great results, and Magnalube-G for grease in baitcasters. For spinning reels the Magnalube is a little on the thick side so I've been using Shimano spinning reel grease on spinning reels. read more
Penn old Blue Grease was ROTANIUM available from Daiwa for about 10.00 a pound which is a lifetime supply for most individuals. After all, a fishing reel uses about a teaspoon or less grease per cleaning. I use and have used for years a grease from Shimano. The same grease they use in there reels, and they sell it. read more
