Generally speaking, they’re the same. However, technically, a meteorologist is a professional who has studied at the university. A forecaster could simply be someone who has studied the weather somewhat and is now on TV telling everyone what the weather will be like with information coming from the meteorologist. read more
The meteorologist must have expertise in interpreting satellite and radar images of the atmosphere. He may pursue education and specialize at master’s and doctorate levels in subjects such as cloud or atmospheric physics and oceanography. read more
What is the difference between those 2 because personally for me i noticed that with a Meteorologist i can seem to take them more seriously especially those who are certified and have seals of approval. read more
