What is the difference between Intel HD and Intel UMA?

Intel UMA (Unified Memory Architecture) means that the VRAM is shared. Or in simple terms, the memory required to render videos is borrowed from main memory (RAM). I couldn't dig up much information about Intel UMA so could someone confirm that the asus 3230m does have hd 4000. If it does I will buy it as the 3230M is slightly faster. If not, could someone please explain the difference between the two graphics. I know they're both integrated and bad. read more
