Celestial stars are (ironically) not star shaped, they're spherical. Starfish are star shaped, but they don't always have 5 tips. I have seen starfish with up to 7 or 8 tips, and I wouldn't be surprised with stars with more tips. read more

Chances are that a large percentage of the stars in the galaxy also have planets orbiting them, which would make them suns as well. read more
