Rotary is the (slightly) older organization but both organizations have over a million people and tens of thousands of clubs around the world. I know that Rotarians are encouraged to visit other clubs while travelling and I assume that the Lions do the same thing. One minor difference is the number of meetings. read more

I believe what he was trying to say is that the Rotary's club is a platform for networking between entrepreneurs who want to do something for charity. read more
Rotary clubs turned to charitable works in the early 1940’s to assist with the War efforts, and expanded from there. Lion’s Club was founded as a charitable organization right from the start, when a group of businessman got together to pool their resources in helping their community. read more
Not every Rotary club is the same, and it is very important to make sure you really like it before you join one. I am not familiar with Lions/ Kiwanis, but I have to imagine it is the same. Let me know if you have any other questions. read more
