There are many unclimbed peaks and routes but, as always, that doesn't necessarily mean they are more difficult/unclimbable (perhaps they just aren't very interesting looking or are relatively inaccessible). read more

The Hindu Kush is a relatively young mountain system, contemporary with the Himalayas and similarly configured in rugged ranges with sharp peaks and deep valleys: as demonstrated by frequent earthquakes, the system is still evolving geologically. read more
