What is the meaning of the Jamaican saying 'ya mon'?

We never say mon - unless we're secretly humoring tourists who expect us to say it. I laugh every time I see foreigners write the phrase in this way. It's very British/English to "round" sounds like that. Jamaicans don't do that. read more
