In my opinion, there seem to be three categories of majors that are the most popular. The first are business majors. Many people come to Miami to study at the Farmer School of Business, which is why if you ask, many people will say they are finance, accounting, marketing, or business economics majors. read more
The most popular is business, followed closely by the pre-meds, and then the school of communications. There are a couple reasons. We have a fairly dedicated alumni network that helps our students become successful (helped by the small size of UM's student populace). read more
