What is the Ontario code for wiring a radon fan?

There are electrical code requirements. Radon fans draw very little amps, so they could be tapped to an existing circuit, but life saving equipment is suppose to be on a dedicated circuit. read more

The fan will be outside the house, 2 feet or less from where the pipe and the conduit will penetrate the foundation. The fan will be on a 20 amp circuit along with an outlet for a sump pump. My question is do I need to have a remote disconnect box outside the house or can I just wire straight to the fan housing. read more

"We cannot plug the fan from outside in. The fan would have to be hardwired to the inside of the house.
