Bachelors Degree A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 124 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study. This would be based on a college or university that operates on a regular two semester academic year which is the most common. read more

Ph.D. = Doctor of Philosophy. this is generally considered to be the most advanced and difficult of the degrees. in most schools it takes anywhere from 4 to 8 years to complete. you take 2-3 years of course work, then write a behemoth called the dissertation. many dissertations are eventually turned into books after graduation. read more
