Really Colombia doesn’t have real power projection outside of the Americas so if war was to break out on Europe then they wouldn’t be of much help. There would have to be more alignment with the US and possibly joining a new NORAD type organization for the America’s as well in order to blunt that argument. read more
Colombia is a close ally with the US and has started cooperation with NATO since 2013. If NATO ever enters a war, it’s likely that Colombia will be on its side. But formally, Colombia is not and will not likely be a member of NATO in the recent future. read more
