This is a bit of a loaded question. I imagine that the “true purpose of hazing” to those who haze others is multi-faceted. Hazing is dangerous in so many ways and can be very harmful when taken to extremes. read more
While in some instances the “true purpose” may be humiliation,embarrassment or even pain, I also imagine that those who perpetuate hazing believe it to be an experience in which to prove oneself to an organization. read more
