The worst thing about being a nurse for me has nothing to do with nursing. It has to do with people and society in general. Honestly, the hours, sights and smells, charting etc. are acceptable. read more
For me I think that the worst part of being a nurse is that you work with others (not just nurses) that are not there for the benefit of the patient. As with any job you have to deal with slackers. Nursing is a wonderful profession. It is what you make of it that will determine the best & worst part of it. read more
The thing I hate the most about being a nurse is the abuse from patients and their families. Yes, I work in the ER in a low-income drug-riddled part of town, so many of my patients (and their families) are substance-altered. read more
