For a long time when I was younger, before I discovered the local public Library, I read whatever books I found lying around at home. Being a Zimbabwean, Takadini by Ben Hanson was one of the books I first found, and became my favorite childhood novel. read more
Before I learned to read: The Winkies (I think), about little people who looked for a home and finally built their own town. Mom would read it to me, and I could hardly wait to learn to read so I could read it myself. read more
