What is your opinion on the recent 'NRA boycott'?

It's completely misplaced and stupid, IMO. Lets examine a few facts: No NRA member has EVER been implicated in a mass shooting of any sort. In fact, they are the least likely members of our society to be involved in something of that kind. It was an NRA member who stopped the shooter in Sutherland, Texas. read more

The boycott of the National Rifle Association following its response to the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, came fast and furious. So the boycott was successful in that it was rapidly spread and was effective in scaring or shaming companies to disassociate themselves with the NRA. It was and is not successful at hurting the NRA. Perhaps the best indication of this is the response of the NRA toward these companies. read more
