I have been working at State of Maryland full-time. Pros. Job security is phenomenal compared to the private sector. In fact, if you spend any amount of time in a position you will hear supervisors talk about how impossibly difficult it is to get rid of anyone. read more

The State of Maryland, State Highway Administration, is a good employer to work for. The pay is lower than I have been used. The medical benefits are good, but the dental and vision aren't as good as previous jobs. read more
