What isn't good about attending UCLA?

This is why medical schools may not admit the students at UCLA because they are under-achievers in thinking UCLA is easier. With this attitude, it can seriously hurt them during the interviews. Getting into UCLA is a privilege. read more

Your attending a Cal State would have been in a less competitive atmosphere, which would probably have led to less switching of majors to find one (perhaps) that you could best handle. Granted, a life-science major at CSU wouldn't have the options of a UCLA or UC grad in general, eg, med/grad school. read more
