People with depression generally have more sick days than the 'average' person because of this it would be logical for a depressed person not to work in a job that has a lot of dependency on the person e.g retail it would be advantageous if they had the capacity to work from home , doing jobs that had less reliance on teamwork and social interaction as this could increase anxiety making the persons depression worse. read more
