It is hard to answer, considering the fact that Many political parties in India are at their infancy(subjective-notion), with regional, religious aspects has been practiced by [parties which has liberal ideological stand]. Its a very good question and I am afraid political parties in India are steeped in extreme ideologies. For example if we take political parties like INC they are steeped too much in favour of politics of appeasement and vote bank collection. Same with Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party. read more
BJP and INC are the only two political parties that are found throughout India, though the CPI (with sister parties) and various anti-class movements have widespread influence. read more
