It is rich, brassy, jazzy, BUT all out Broadway. Songs like With "Every Breath I Take," a lovely torch song are so enduring. But, music isn't what makes a musical. Certainly it is one of the principal players in a musical. But, it can't hold up a show all by itself. It needs a strong, well written book. read more
