What neighborhood of Santiago should I stay in when visiting?

It depends on which places are you visiting while you are there or what do you want to do in Santiago. If it is for business, then stay in El Golf (Las Condes) or Vitacura. Otherwise, you can find some nice boutique hotels in Las Tarria or Providencia. read more

Santiago is very divided, consisting in a quite large richer area called Sector Oriente. (East Area) and Sector Poniente which is poorer and larger. (West Area). Nowhere near the airport is tourist friendly. Some SECTOR PONIENTE areas are worth visiting anyway, like PARQUE RENATO SÁNCHEZ; o PERSA BIO BIO; o QUINTA NORMAL, o BARRIO BRASIL o YUNGAY. read more
