Presently I'm working in a hydro power plant of 300MW capacity. Recently we have installed a micro hydro turbine in our tailrace (the channel used to carry the used water to the tail pond). It's an AC generator of 10kW rated capacity & it's connected to the plant auxiliary supply bus through a converter-inverter assembly. read more
