I am facing problems in raising up my zebrafish larvae, most of them start to die after 1week post fertilization. I get many different opinions regarding foods should be fed, some said they can be fed with artemia after they hatced, some said start to feed with artemina after 5 dpf. read more
Larvae are housed in 1.8L tanks with baby baffles (<30 larvae per tank). Initially, the tanks are 25% full of water with no drip from the system. Fish are fed 2x daily throughout except on weekends (1x). read more
Our group feeds zf larvae after 5 dpf with powdered dry food (eg: Tetramin, NovoTom), until 3-4 weeks, then we add fresh artemia. I know that other groups use different supplements such as paramecia or spirulina.
