Avocados and rhubarb are toxic and should be completely avoided as part of a bearded dragon’s diet. Lettuce should not be fed to a bearded dragon (or any other reptile, really) because it lacks any real nutritional value. Carrots and romaine lettuce are what I normally fed my young beardie, Pina. Crickets (store bought or personally bred) are the best for bearded dragons because I helps them hunt. You can feed them roaches as well, but those are easier for them to catch. Smaller dragons should be fed pinhead crickets. read more
