There are a great number of books that can introduce you, and the wonderful thing about them all is that Buddhism is expansive enough to encompass them all; you aren't tied to Tibetan Buddhism just because you started to learn there - I read Surya Das' book, joined a Zen sitting group and practiced Zen under numerous lineages for a few years - first Sōtō (Japanese Zen) and then Kwan Um (Korean Seon), before finding my home in the Dzogchen lineage after all. read more
