Newborn size, of course. More precisely, the box will probably say"0-3 months". Of course there are different sizes. Infants and toddlers grow very fast, so they tend to outgrow a new diaper size PDQ. Most parents find themselves going up a size in diapers they buy every few months. read more
Newborn: approx. 100 diapers (10 days) Size 1: approx. 600 diapers (a little over 2 months) Size 2: still in them at 3 1/2 months old. approx. 250 used so far and her current rate of growth makes me think we will use about 250 more before she needs to move up to size 3. My son went up a size in diapers every 2 months until about 6-7 months, he was in a size 4 and has been a size 4 since then (16 months now). Stock up on 1s and 2s. Some babies stay in size 2s until 6 months, others, like mine, gorw quickly. Regardless, you will go through alot of diapers, so getting a case or 2 of each size is a safe. read more
Many babies outgrow newborn or 0- to 3-month clothes quickly, and some larger babies skip the newborn sizes completely and start with 3-month or 3- to 6-month sizes. Others will start out in preemie sizes and wear newborn clothes for months. read more
