What type of rock was used to make the Lincoln Memorial?

Ground was broken for the foundation of the Lincoln Memorial on February 12, 1914. The work was divided into two parts, a sub- and an upper-foundation. A third type of stone used is pink Tennesse marble. A fourth kind of stone used (for the statue of Lincoln) is marble from Georgia.
