Hendrix's concerts, especially in the beginning, were an event. The audience where"plugged in" so to speak to the"New" and you would only be at his concert if you were part of this new society. It was electric. read more

Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox and Mitch Mitchell reformed as an updated edition of the Jimi Hendrix Experience in the spring of 1970. Some fans enjoyed the new arrangement, while others were less enthused. Either way, when Jimi played Berkeley, it was a three-man jam fest. read more
