China was fighting alone for 4 years. All other countries, especially America, had benefited from China's efforts in the Asian-Pacific Theater. So China had played a critical role in WWII. But we should notice that the Republic of China which played the critical role in WWII is not the Communist China we see today. read more
China's role in WWII was huge. It suffered at least as many casualties as the USSR if not more. Over 20 million. The War in China was the reason that the Pacific War began. The Japanese needed to get resources from Indonesia in order to continue their conquest of China. read more
