I believe that Jimi was truly and completely in love with music in a way that most people fail to understand. Many people love music, but I believe that his relationship with it was, mentally, very similar to the relationship between lovers and was more meaningful to him than any human interaction. read more
Lots of other musicians who knew Jimi say he was a very sweet, quiet person and very soft spoken. He always did some drugs during his career as a guitarist but I have heard that after the passing of Martin Luther King Jr. he became heavily addicted, he took it really hard which is understandable. read more
