I hope she would appreciate David Suchet's very fine acting, but she probably wouldn't like it. Christie loathed her character Poirot by the end of the series. read more

I believe Christie would have come to appreciate David Suchet’s Poirot as the character Christie wrote is there but is made much more sympathetic, likeable, humane and humble. I'm surprised that she liked Albert Finney’s interpretation of Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express as he emphasised the character traits least likeable and was overly egotistical. read more
