Although nightmares and night terrors both cause people to awake in great fear, they are different. Night terrors typically occur in the first few hours after falling asleep. They are experienced as feelings, not dreams, so people do not recall why they are terrified upon awakening. read more
After each nightmare was over, I'd wake up then go back to sleep, this happened until I woke up at 8. I only remember that the first one had something to with an owl. The last one I remember a bit more clearly, it was during some kind of war, Vietnam-type, it was kind of chopped up. read more
