I'd be surprised if the probability of any state seceding were more than infinitesimally greater than zero. Based on our Civil War as precedent, those in CONUS know that the US wouldn't tolerate a hostile state in its interior or on its border. The Founders didn't even permit that for Rhode Island. That leaves Alaska and Hawaii as possibilities. read more
