I think if Jupiter and Saturn collided, (as improbable as that is) you would see the creation of a new system, with new moons (along with some of the old ones), and a much bigger host planet. Some of the old moons might be flung off into space as well. read more

Earth MAY shift orbit (probably closer to the sun than further, but either could happen) and it would have a much greater chance of being hit by a large asteroid. Errm a change in orbits would HAVE to happen for Jupiter and Saturn to collide since they are in very stable orbits right now. read more
