What would happen when India achieves a 100% literacy rate?

You see there are countries like USA and France that has almost 100% literacy rates has substantial increase in the criminal activities over the years. In fact, if we go with the statistics, there were more murders & rapes concluded in the USA than India over the last five years. read more

So I doubt if India will ever achieve 100% literacy. If it can achieve 80% literacy, that would be remarkable. The important thing to concentrate on is monitoring systems so we can accurately calculate the rate of change of literacy in India. read more
