As a counterpart of the 10/22 the Remington 597 had been around for a good while; although not as popular as the 10/22, its features still made it my favorite 22 rifle. I’ve shot 10000+ rounds through my old 10/22 and I love that gun, but it only took 1000 rounds for me to fell in love with the 597. read more
